北米版少年ジャンプ(SHONEN JUMP)公式サイト（英文）をのぞいてきました。

記事にはこんな文面が書いてありました。

In the September issue of SHONEN JUMP, we taught you some wartime terminology, and now it's time to learn some simple battle phrases. Peace may be just around the corner, but before then, give your enemies a good piece of your mind!

（SHONEN JUMP 9月号では、戦時の用語をいくつか教授します。さぁ、今が簡単なバトル用語を学ぶ時です。平和は間近に迫っているかもしれません。しかし、その前に敵に十分文句を言ってやりましょう！）


「平和が間近に迫っている」と言っているのはマリンフォードの戦いのことを指しています。だけど、どうして戦時の日本語を学ばなければならないのか、、、謎ですｗ

このように
・アルファベット日本語音表記

・日本語
と並んでいます。

「覚悟しやがれ」が「Prepare yourself」、、あ～なるほど。確かに。

こういうのは、どっちかというと日本人が楽しめそうなコンテンツですね。



結局、北米人にこんな日本語教えてどうなるんでしょうか？　「わらわ」てｗ
この文面は外人が書いているみたいですが・・・。

◆アニメのあらすじ

On their way to Skypiea, the Straw Hats make a quick stopover on the pirate-infested island of Jaya, seeking information about how to get to the sky island. In a local watering hole, they run into Bellamy, a loudmouth pirate with a 55,000,000 berry bounty on his head and the power of a Devil Fruit! Intentionally goading Luffy into a fight, Bellamy is outraged when the Straw Hat won't fight back as a matter of pride.

モックタウンでのベラミーの話です。
「Straw Hat won't fight back as a matter of pride（麦わらの一味はプライドのために戦わなかった）
」から大体話が分かってもらえるはずです。

この後、こう続きます。

But when Bellamy steals a rare golden bird from Luffy’s friends, he goes too far and Luffy decides to teach him a lesson! Bellamy has the power to turn his legs into springs and jump incredible distances, but Luffy can turn any part of his body into rubber. Springy legs versus a rubber body! It’s a fight you have to see to believe!

しかし、ベラミーが友達から黄金を強奪した時は、ルフィは憤怒し、彼におしおきを与える（ teach a lesson）ことに決めました。

（正義のゴム拳をお見舞い！）

rubbery fist （ゴム拳）って鉄拳をモジってるんでしょうかね。おもしろー。

あと、teach a lesson（おしおきをする） の「lesson」が次のやりとりに掛かっていて、うまいな～と思いました。

ベラミー　「パンチの打ち方を知ってんのか？ハハハハ！てめェみてェな腰抜けに何ができる！！！」

ルフィ　「パンチの打ち方を知ってるかって・・・？」

（正義のゴム拳）　ドン！！！
